I said to a watercolourist friend after seeing a vivid watercolour painting, ‘I tried watercolours 20 years ago and it was too wishy-washy...’ ‘Well you were adding too much water’ she replied. A REVELATION that sent me off to buy a heap of watercolours. This is my second attempt.
